Laser Non-Pigmented Lesion Treatment

Non-pigmented lesions are those which contain very little coloring or pigment. Usually they are called lumps and bumps such as warts, skin tags, keratosis, keloid, stretch marks, etc. These conditions should be assessed carefully by a physician to rule out any precancerous or cancerous conditions.

Laser Scar Treatment

You may have a scar formed by an injury. The scar may be flat, raised, depressed or jagged. It may be fresh or old. Scar reduction can be achieved surgically and non-surgically. It may be achieved by fillers, Nd YAG laser, chemical or laser peel,2 or a combination there of. Dr. Padma Jain assesses each patient for his/her scar and suggests the most effective procedure to achieve the best result. Since each scar is different, the suggested treatment will be specific to your own condition. We suggest you have a personal consultation with Dr. Jain to discuss your specific scar. She will assess it, suggest the treatment and give the cost of the treatment.

Laser Wart Treatment

There are different types of warts: common wart, flat wart, planter wart and mosaic wart. A wart is generally a small, rough tumor, typically found on the hands, feet, face, near the eyelids and lips, on the soles of the feet and genital area. Warts are common, and are caused by a viral infection, specifically by the human papilloma virus (HPV). They typically disappear after a few months but can last for years and can recur. A few papilloma viruses are known to cause cancer. Certain types of warts, depending on location and cause, can be contagious from region to region, but are not transferable between species. Dr. Jain treats warts with the CO2 Laser.

Laser Keratosis Treatment

Keratosis is a rough, scaly patch on your skin that develops from prolonged exposure to the sun over time. It usually affects the face, lips, ears, hands and anywhere on the body that is left uncovered and exposed to the sun. Keratosis enlarges slowly and does not cause symptoms other than a little spot on your skin.

Laser Keloid Treatment

Keloids are a dense mass of skin that rises quickly during the healing process and can progressively get larger over time. This skin may be thicker than the area around it and is usually formed as a result of trauma to the skin. After the trauma, the skin heals itself through the reformation of collagen. Keloids begin to rise as extra collagen is formed. This is treated with Co2 Lasers and VBeam Perfecta.
